The eye behind it
Curiosity,
given a frame.
I am drawn to the small detail that changes a whole scene: a curve in pavement, light on metal, a shadow crossing stone.
My photographs move between places, textures and motion, with an eye for what might otherwise pass unnoticed.
A wide view has its place. So does the small piece within it—the shape, texture or unexpected resemblance that makes you stop for another look.
